Experience:

I started out my career as a learning support assistant and caregiver for children on the Autistic spectrum at a residential school in the UK. I then went on to work in the care field whilst training to be a speech and language therapist. I worked with children from 3yrs with a range of physical, cognitive, sensory and communication needs providing everyday care, a fun and caring atmosphere, as well as help with academic studies. I have been a speech and language therapist since for 4 years and specialise in working with children with Cerebral Palsy, behaviour difficulties and acquired brain injury. However I have experience of working with children with a wide range of special needs. This care includes, the facilitation of communication and social skills, all everyday care including feeding. I am trained in first aid and Epilepsy care.
